Day 01 : Arrive - Delhi

On arrival you will meet with our company representative standing in ‘Meet & Greet’ area at the airport. After hearty welcome you will be escorted by him to your hotel.

Remarks : The hotel room is reserved from 02.00 PM this afternoon and if you arrive in the afternoon and have time to do some additional sightseeing in Delhi, kindly ask our experts to offer an additional sightseeing tour for you or provide you with a private car to go out in the city to explore it on your own.

Day 02 : Delhi sightseeing

The sightseeing tour of Delhi has so many things to include in it. After breakfast meet with your guide in the hotel lobby to start a combined city tour of Old and New Delhi. The sightseeing will include visit to some most prestigious tourist spots of Delhi including Qutub Minar (The tallest minaret in India), Lutus Temple (Temple of Bahai’s), Tomb of Humayun, drive past through India Gate (The war memorial), President’s Palace and Parliament Buildings.

Lunch will be in a famous city restaurant where delicious cuisine will be served. Chor Bizzarre is among some most famous restaurants in Delhi where tourist love to spend some time while having tasty food.

Post lunch visit the busy and crowded Old Delhi. Start with a rickshaw ride from Red Fort to the Silver Street. It is going to be an awe inspiring experience for you as you watch the life of the people and get interacted with them. Visit the biggest mosque of Jama Masjid and then proceed to Raj Ghat (The cremation ground of father of the Nation and the Ambassador of world peace, Mahatma Gandhi)

Come back to your hotel after finishing the sightseeing and spend leisurely time in your hotel.

Day 03 : Delhi – Jaipur (by Shatabdi Express train)

Today we have to get up early as we are going to experience a superfast aircontitioned India train journey which starts from Delhi railway station at around 0605 hrs and takes us to Jaipur in about 4 hours and 30 minutes. Breakfast in the hotel is included and if you wish you can ask the hotel to provide you early breakfast. Light breakfast with juices/tea etc will be served in the train for your breakfast and it is also included in tour train ticket cost. We arrive at Jaipur at 1035 hrs approx and will be received by the Company representative. A comfortable transfer is arranged in Jaipur from railway station to the hotel.

By the time we settle in our hotel it is almost noon time and we will straight go into the Pink city to visit the beautiful monuments taking us back to old times. The most important monuments today are Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), City Palace Museum (also house to royal family of Jaipur) and Jantar Mantar observatory.

In the evening have a fantastic folk dance show followed by local cuisine in a local city restaurant. You can also get the chance to see one of our famous astrologer and may consult with him. One can prefix an appointment with him by filling up form.

Day 04 : Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra

In the morning get up and after breakfast drive to Amer Fort which is 10 kms out of the city on near Delhi-Jaipur highway. The fort is situated on the top of a hill and is accessible by a jeep or an elephant. From the foothill we ride on a decorative elephant to ascend the fort. If you are not interested in riding on the Elephant, you may opt for a jeep ride.

After visiting the fort your driver will take you for a 5 hours long drive to the city of Taj Mahal, Agra.

On our way to Agra we visit the forbidden city of Fatehpur Sikri which is a fine example of Indian architecture. The fort of Fatehpur Sikri has many important sites to visit including Buland Darwaja (the 55 meter high entry gate facing the South side of the city), Jama Masjid, White marbel tomb of Sufi saint Salim Chishti, Diwan-i-Aam (Hall of Public Audience), Diwan-i-Khaas (Hall of Private Audience) and Panch Mahal (a five storied palatial structure).

Continue to Agra and on arrival get the key to your room in the hotel. Relax for a short while and then get set to visit the most beautiful, amazingly designed, marvelously crafted wonder of the world ‘Taj Mahal’. The white marble monument is situated on the bank of river Yamuna telling us the tales of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan who built this most beautiful structure in the sweet memories of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.

Evening is at leisure for your independent activities and night stay in the hotel at Agra.

Day 05 : Agra - Delhi (by Shatabdi express)

In the morning after tasty breakfast visit the grand Agra fort and witness the grandeur of Mughal architecture. This massive fort was built by emperor Akbar 1566. Here the creator of Taj Mahal (Shah Jahan) was kept under house arrest by his son Aurangzeb. Shah Jahan spent the last years of his life seeing Taj Mahal from the window of his room.

After visiting Agra Fort head to another important and beautiful monument of Mughal era. Itmad-Ud-daulah Which is also famous among travellers as ‘Mini Taj’ or ‘Baby Taj’ due to its Taj Mahal like structure. It is considered as imminent precursor of the Taj Mahal.

Evening transfer to the train station to board your air conditioned express train to Delhi
