This tour is a blend of two vibrant south Indian states Kerala and Karnataka. Kerala which is also refrred as God’s own country is showered with natural beauty, the backwaters lined up with coconut groves makes a perfect leisure destination. Trivandrum the capital itself is a treasury of Heritage, Alleppey referred as ‘Venice of the East” is another great attraction. Karnataka which is also fully loaded with natural beauty and heritage monuments dating back to 12th and 13th centuries built by Hoysala rulers adds flavor to your tour.
Day 1 : Arrive Trivandrum
On arrival at Trivandrum International airport you will be welcomed by our representative and later you will be escorted to your pre booked hotel. Rest of the day free to recover from jetlag. Overnight at hotel
Day 2 : Trivandrum Sightseeing
Morning breakfast at hotel and then leave for sightseeing of Trivandrum. Trivandrum or Thiruvananthpuram is the capital of Kerala. The city is well gifted with imposing temples, museums and serene beaches. Visit Napier museum which almost dates back to 1855 AD built by Maharaja of Madras but was later on demolished and was reconstructed by Lord Napier and thus it was called Napier museum. From the architecture of the building to the contents are all praiseworthy. It has varieties of collection of bronze and stone sculpture, numismatics, carvings done out of wood and ivory and many more. Also visit Padmanabhapuram Palace built in the 14th century. Later visit Kuthiramalika Palace museum which is a classic specimen of Kerala architecture. The Palace with its excellent carvings and amazing architectural designs is by itself a slice of heritage. Rest of the day explore the city on your own. Night stay at hotel.

Day 3 : Trivandrum - Quilon 70 Km/1.5 Hrs - Alleppey
After breakfast drive to Kollam to embark the houseboat at 1000 Hrs, you will sail on the fascinating backwaters en route visiting some of the typical Kerala villages where you can see the coir making , boat building, toddy tapping and spice plantations. Overnight stay at Deluxe air-conditioned houseboat.
Day 4 : Alleppey – Kumarakom 35 Km / 01 Hr
After breakfast disembark the houseboat at Alleppey and continue your drive to Kumarakom which has some of the best backwater resorts in Kerala. Kumarakom is the ornithologist’s paradise. Enjoy the facilities of the deluxe resort and spend your day leisurely.
Day 5 : Kumarakom - Cochin 50 Km /1.5 Hrs
Morning enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Cochin another interesting city full of heritage treasures. Cochin is considered to be the Gateway of Kerala owing to its accessibility from other parts of the world because of the International airport and is also well connected domestically. On arrival check in hotel and then later go for half day guided city tour which includes Mattancherry Palace also called the Dutch Palace which was given as gift to King of Kochi by the Portuguese in the year 1555 AD. Later go to see Chinese Fishing net which was used by the fisherman’s to catch the fish at the high tides. Believed to be brought from China by Kubala’s Khan Court thus got its name Chinese Fishing Net. In the evening go for traditional Kerala’s traditional Kathakali dance. Night stay at hotel.
Day 6 : Cochin - Thrissur 80 Km /02 Hrs
Today head to cultural capital and the fourth largest city of Kerala.The city is encircled by beautiful hillock atop is a temple of Shiva called Vadakkumnathan temple which is the centre of cultural and spiritual activities.Thrissur Pooram is one of the biggest festival celebrated near the Vadakkumnathan temple with great joy and fervour in April or May month. Also visit the Asia’s highest church, the Basilica of Our Lady of Dolours. Rest of the day free to discover the city on your own. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 : Thrissur - Kozhikode - Kadavu 160 Km /04 Hrs
Morning drive to Kadavu, via Kozhikode also called Calicut, the third largest city of Kerala.In 1498 AD Vasco –da –Gama of Portugal discovered a new sea route from Europe to India. He sailed around Africa via the Cape of Good Hope and reached Calicut on the Malabar Coast of India on May 27, 1498 AD. The Hindu King Zamorin of Calicut received him cordially and granted permission to the Portuguese. Just as a memory a monument has been erected here to mark his landing. Visit Dolphin point about 02 kilometers from the city, is an ideal place to see them playing in the sea. Also go to see Ettumanoor temple where you can see lord Shiva in the Nataraj form. Later drive to Kadavu and check in one of the splendid resort. Night stay at hotel.
Day 8 : Kadavu - Nagarhole 150 Km /05 Hrs
Morning leave for Nagarhole, which is a combination of two words ‘Nagar’ means snake and ‘hole’ means stream in Kanada language owing to many small streams meandering all over the forest.Nagarhole national park is renowned for its good number of Asiatic elephant and bison. The backdrop of the distant misty blue Brahmagiri Mountains, the natural sound of the jungle, gurgling of streams and the twittering of the birds make Nagarhole a memorable experience. Check in Kabini River lodge for night stay.
Day 9 : Nagarhole
Today morning after breakfast go to experience the traditional Coracle boat ride on Kabini River. It is a small boat of wickerwork covered with water tight material. After boat ride go for Jungle safari by jeep. Nagarhole is covered mainly by moist and dry deciduous forests dominated by teak, rosewood and dry deciduous forests in the eastern limits of the park. Among the mammals include Asiatic elephant, tiger, leopard, wild dog, sambar, barking deer, sloth bear and many more. In Birds Herons, Storks, egrets, ducks, kites, eagles, falcons, partridge etc.Night stay at lodge.
Day 10 : Nagarhole - Mysore (100 Km/ 03 Hours)
Morning head to ‘Sandalwood city”, Mysore. Mysore withits abundant parks and palaces still retains the aura of grandeur and royalty. On arrival check in one of

the heritage hotel and later leave for guided city tour which includes Mysore Palace built in Indo Sarascenic style with domes, turrets, arches and colonnades, the palace is a treasure house of exquisite carvings and works of art from all over the world. Go to Chamundi hills to see 2000 year old Chamundeshwari temple dedicated to the patron goddess of the royal family. On the half way to the hill see 4.8 meters high and 7.6 meters wide monolithic statue of the Nandi Bull. Evening free to walk around the local market. Night stay at hotel
Day11 : Mysore
Morning after breakfast leave for an excursion to Srirangapatana which is about 16 Km from Mysore.It is a fortress of legendary warrior king Tipu Sultan. The fortress houses Tipu’s mosque with its twin minarets, the celebrated Ranganatha Swamy temple, Tipu’s summer palace, the Wellesley Bridge, and the dungeons where British officers were once imprisoned. Later visit Brindavan Garden which is at the base of Krishnasagar Dam built across the river Cauvery.The terraced Brindavan gardens with swirling fountains and illuminated by colorful lights, looks a fairyland at night. Night stay at hotel.
Day 12: Mysore - Coorg 100 Km/ 02 Hrs

Today leave for a beautiful hill station full of lush green forest, coffee plantation , dense teak wood forest on the Western Ghat.On arrival check in resort. You can go to Abbey Falls which is 05 Km from Coorg also known as Jesse Falls. Also see the Fort built by kings of Coorg on a hill overlooking the town. Another place of interest is Omkareswara temple which is the combination of Hindu and Muslim Architecture. Night stay at resort.
Day 13 : Coorg
Full day at leisure to enjoy the beauty of nature. Overnight at resort.
Day 14 : Coorg - Hassan 160 Km /04 Hrs
Morning enjoy your breakfast at resort then leave for Hassan. It is considered to be the base to visit Belur and Halebid. On arrival check in hotel and rest of the day relax in the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15 : Excursion to Belur and Halebid – Bangalore 180 Km /04 Hrs

Start your day early and go for an excursion to Belur and Halebid and later drive to Bangalore. At Belur visit Chemakesava Temple built by the Hoysala King Vishnuvardhana.It is star shaped with 46 pillars in the interior hall. The pillars and ceilings are lavishly and gorgeously carved. The Hoysaleswara Temple at Halebid is the biggest achievement of the Hoysalas ruler. This temple is purely made of greyish soapstone and has a charm of its own. A new style was evolved by the builders of this temple. The temple is neither square nor rectangular but star shaped and polygonal. After visiting these temples drive to the “Garden city of India”, Bangalore. Evening check in hotel for night stay.
Day 16 : Bangalore Sightseeing – Fly Back Home
After morning breakfast go with your guide to explore the beautiful city of Bangalore. It is a serene and spacious city with avenues lined up with acacia and flame of the forest trees. Visit Bull temple, one of the oldest temples of Bangalore dedicated to Nandi, the sacred bull. Next go to Tipu’s Palace, which was the summer retreat constructed in 1791 AD. The Lalbagh, home to some of the rare species of plants. Drive past Vidhan Souda which is a magnificent building housing the State Legislature. In the meantime you will be transferred to the International airport to board your flight back to home or onward journey.
