Day 01 : Kathmandu - Lhasa by flight (3650m)
After breakfast, 7:00 AM transfer to airport 20 min drive from hotel -Representative will assist you. Departure of flight for LHASA would be 9:50AM NEPALI STANDARD TIME and arriving in Gonggar airport 1:00 PM CHINA TIME.Flight Kathmandu / Lhasa takes one hour ten minutes. During the flight you will see the following: YARLUNG TSANGPO RIVER, LAKE YAMDROK, MT.KANCHANJUNGA (8586m), MT. MAKALU (8463m) and MT. EVEREST (8848m). (If weather permitting). When you will arrive in Gonggar airport you willtransfer to Lhasa 96 Km away by bus. O/N in Lhasa.
Day 02 : Lhasa tour (3650m)
These days you will be engrossed with sightseeing and excursions of THE POTALA PALACE, THE JOKHANG TEMPLE surrounding BARKHOR market DREPUNG MONASTERY and SERA MONASTERY. Overnight hotel.
Day 03 : Lhasa - Gyantse (3950m) - 260km.
8 hrs bus drive takes you to Gyantse crossing the Brahmaputra River, the KAROLAPASS (5010m) and KAMBALA PASS (4794m). The KAROLA climbs between two lofty mountains, NOZING KHANGSA (7223m) and RALUNG (6236m) While driving you will see the YAMDROK TSO (Turquoise Lake), which takes approx. 1hr to cross around. Reaching Gyantse and check in hotel. Overnight in hotel.
Day 04 : Xigatse - Lhatse (3950m)- 210kms.
Xigatse is very famous due to the TASHILUMPO MONASTERY the seat of Panchen Lama until his death in 1989 with its huge Thanka Wall Cleary visible on north side of the road Lhatze is 3 hrs away over a 5220m pass near the petrol station, there is a small restaurant where tea / snakes areavailable. Reach Lhatse Overnight in Lhatse
Day 05 : Lhatse -Zhangmu (3600m) -370kms.
After breakfast drive to Zhangmu by bus via Nyalam and have to pass LALUNGLA (5050m) will bring us in view of MT. LANGTANG (7245m), MT.XIXAPANGMA (8013m), & MT. DORJE LAKPA (6980m), MT. MAKALU ( 8464m), MT.EVEREST (8848m), MT. LHOTSE (8516m) & MT. CHOOYU (8201m). From Nyalam toZhangmu the road follows the BHOTE KOSHI river in the deep valley with plenty of Waterfalls. After 1.5 hrs drive bring us to Zhangmu. Overnight in hotel.
Day 06 : Zhangmu -Kathmandu (1250M) - 154km
Departure at 7:00 Am from Zhangmu where after completion of Immigration formalities all check drive to KODARI (China / Nepal Border). After the completion of Immigration formalities in Nepal Immigration drive to Kathmandu. It takes approx 6 hrs drive to Kathmandu and along the way you can see good scenery of views. O/N in Kathmandu.
