Taj Mahal is a Romance in stone and is regarded as the brilliant conglomeration of Persian; Indian and Islamic architecture. UNESCO honored this monument as World Heritage site in the year 1983.
It was built by Shah Jehan who is considered to be the “Great Builder of Mughal Empire”. This masterpiece was designed by the chief architect Ustad Isa of Persia. It is also called the “Monument of Love” since Shah Jehan built in the memory of his better half Mumtaj.
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
After traditional Indian welcome by the Max representative you will be escorted to your pre booked hotel. Overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi sightseeing
Today after breakfast explore the capital of India, Delhi. Delhi had been always the bone of contention whosoever wanted to rule India. It was ruled in succession by Qutab –ud –Din of slave dynasty to Khiljis after that Tughlaq’s and then the Mughals and later it became the prey to Britishers in 1803 A.D. till 1947 A.D when the power shifted to the Republic of India.

Still the flavors of bygone eras can be scented in the monuments which were built by them. Delhi sightseeing is divided into parts old Delhi and New Delhi. Old Delhi, you have the monuments of the Mughal period like Jumma Masjid (Jumma Mosque), Red Fort and Chandani Chowk also called the moon light square now it is packed with hawkers and local vendors, one can take a stroll there. Later visit cremation ground of Mahatama Gandhi a great freedom fighter of India. Drive past President’s Palace (Rashtrapati Bhawan) and stop at the war memorial, India gate, on the walls one can see the names of those brave soldiers who never returned home after World War I and Afghan war. Then drive to Humayun’s tomb a monument of Mughal period and then Qutab Minar of the Slave dynasty. Apart from these historical monuments one can visit Birla temple of Hindu religion and Lotus temple of Bahai’s faith. Overnight stay at hotel

Day 03 : Delhi - Agra (204 KM / 04 Hrs – Excursion Fateh Pur Sikri
Today have an early breakfast at the hotel and leave for Fatehpur Sikri which is about 35 Km away from the Agra city.
Fateh Pur Sikri is considered to the “Ghost Town”, it was the idea of Mughal Emperor Akbar to shift his capital from Agra to Fatehpur Sikri but he had to abandon it due to water problem. The complex has many beautiful red sandstone buildings like Diwan-e-Am (House of Public Audience), Diwan-e-Khas (House of Private Audience), Jodha Bai’s Palace, named after Akbar’s Rajput wife. Panch Mahal (Five Stories Summer Palace) and many more interesting monuments. Later drive to Agra and check in hotel.After lunch leave for Agra fort which is somewhat replica of Red Fort of Delhi.Enjoy the view Taj Mahal at sunset when its glory is at peak as the sunrays falls on the embedded stones in the marble it shines which is really a heart throbbing. Return to hotel for night stay.
Day 04 : Agra - Delhi 204 Km / 04 Hr
Today go to see Taj early morning at sunrise when the colorful stones glow to make it more beautiful. Later return to hotel for breakfast after that drive directly to Delhi from where you can carry your further journey.
