The tour starts from the capital of India, New Delhi then visit one of the ancient cities of the world, Varanasi. Khajuraho, the sculptors depicting the stories of lust, Gwalior the city boasting of massive fort which is the landmark of the city. Orchha a tiny hamlet on the bank of the river Betwa boasts of palaces and temples.Shivpuri the summer retreat of the royal families of Scindhia. Ujjain the city from where the Tropic of cancer passes and has the observatory. Mandu a quiet place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the life. Bhopal the capital city of the Central India. Panchmarhi were nature opens their arms to welcome you. So each city has something different to offer you.
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
After meet and greet at the international airport by Max representative, you will be transferred to your pre booked hotel for night stay.
Day 02 : Delhi sightseeing
Explore the city of Delhi which was ruled by many rulers and still you can see their footprints, the glorious past what they left behind. After having breakfast in the hotel, will meet our guide who will take you for the sightseeing of the monuments. Delhi is full of all the historical monuments. Start your sightseeing with Qutab Complex where you see the imposing 72 metres high Qutab Minar of 12th century AD whose construction was started by Qutab ud Din Aibek but was completed by illtutmish. Also see Quwat ul Islam which is 64 metres long and 46 metres wide, decorated with engraved calligraphy. Also see the iron pillar believed to be built by Kumargupta I to commemorate the achievements of his father Chandragupta Vikramaditya. Drive past President’s Palace which was once the residence of Viceroy of colonial India, it was designed by architect Edwin Landseer Lutyens, take a stop at India Gate built in the memories of those soldiers who lost their lives during World War I and Afghan War. Then drive to Humayun’s Tomb built by Akbar who was a great Mughal emperor and son of Humayun. This monument was built between 1565-1580 AD of red sandstone and marble in a typical Muslim style. Later drive past Red Fort and then visit Jumma Masjid which perhaps one of the biggest mosques in the whole world was built between 1644 AD – 1658 AD by Shah Jehan who had a great passion of making buildings. Just in front of Jumma Masjid is Chandani Chowk where you can see the mad crowd and beeline of hawkers. Later return to the city centre Connuaght Place for local shopping. Evening return to hotel for night stay.
Day 03 : Delhi - Varanasi by flight
Today morning you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight for the eternal city Varanasi. On arrival you will be met by our representative who will escort you to your hotel. Rest of the day relax in the hotel and later in the evening drive to the bank of the river Ganges to see the evening prayer offered to the sacred river Ganges. Evening return to hotel for night stay.
Day 04 : Varanasi Sightseeing
Toady early morning leave for the boat ride on the river Ganges to take a view of the activities taking place on the bank of the river. You can see the cremation , how Hindus burn the dead bodies , people offering the morning prayer to sun god, some of them are offering prayers for their ancestors for their peace in the heaven. After return to hotel for breakfast and again leave for temple tours. Visit Tulsi Manas Temple, the walls are engraved with verses and scenes from the epic Ramayana. Then visit Benaras Hindu University which was made by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya in 1918 AD, as a centre of education in Indian art, culture and music and for the study of Sanskrit. Inside the university visit Bharat Kala Bhavan which has miniature paintings and sculptures from 01st -15th centuries. Later drive to Sarnath the place where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon after attaining the enlightenment at Bodh Gaya. Evening return to hotel for night stay.
Day 05 : Varanasi - Khajuraho by flight
Morning after breakfast you will be driven to the airport to board your flight for Khajuraho. Meet our representative at the airport who will take you to the hotel. After wash and change our guide will meet you in the hotel later go with him to see Western Group of temples. The most famous temples among the western group are Kandriya Mahadev temple, Chaunsth Yogni, Vishvanath Temple and Lakshman Temple. The most famous among them are Kandriya Mahadev temple dedicated to lord Shiva is about 31 metres long and 20 metres wide and 30 metres high. These temples were built during 950-1050 AD by Chandella rulers. Evening free to relax in the hotel.

Day 06 : Khajuraho Sightseeing / Orchha 160 Km /04 Hrs
Morning after visiting the temples of Eastern and Southern group depart for Khajuraho. The Eastern group consists of Parashvnatha, Ghantai and Adinath temple. Parashvnatha temple is dedicated to Jain religion, Parashvnatha was an apostle of the Jain religion. In the southern group you have Duladeo and Chaturbhuja temples. Head to Orchha and check in resort later go for sightseeing of Orchha. Visit Jehangir Palace which was built by Bir Singh Dev in the honour of the Mughal emperor Jehangir. Orchha was the seat of power of the Bundelas. Also visit Ram Raja Temple where Lord Ram is worshipped not as a god but as a King. Overnight stay at resort.
Day 07 : Orchha-Gwalior 120 Km / 03 Hrs
Breakfast in the resort and then leave to unravel the chequered history of Gwalior.On arrival check in hotel and later leave for guided city tour. The main attractions are Gwalior Fort, Jai Vilas Palace, Gujari Mahal and Tomb of Tansen. In the evening you can go for light and sound show at Gwalior Fort. At night stay at hotel.
Day 08 : Gwalior – Shivpuri 110 Km / 02 Hrs 30 Min
After breakfast leave for Shivpuri, the name which it has derived from lord Shiva as there are many temples dedicated to him. After check in formalities at hotel are done leave for sightseeing. The main attractions of Shivpuri are Madhav National Park which offers an excellent opportunity to see the wildlife. The easily spotted faunas are Chinkara, deer, Chital and the Indian Gazelle. Later visit Madhav Vilas Palace which was the summer retreat of the Scindias, other place of attraction is Cenotaphs of the Scindias family. George Castle built in the deep woods is also worth visiting. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 : Shivpuri – Ujjain 345 Km / 06 Hrs
Start your day early morning since today you have to cover a long distance to reach one of the religious cities of India Ujjain where every after 12 years a holy congregation is organized. Ujjain is situated on the bank of Shipra River. On arrival check in hotel and the day free to relax in the hotel after a long journey. Night stay at hotel.
Day 10 : Ujjain – Mandu 140 Km / 03 Hrs
Morning breakfast at hotel and then go for guided city tour .The places of interests are Mahakaleshwar temple which houses one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. Observatory made by Maharaja of Jaipur Sawai Jai Singh in 1719 AD is a great work on astronomy. It is supposed that Tropic of Cancer pass through Ujjain. Also see Bhartihari caves made above the bank of the river Shipra. Also on the bank of the river Shipra is Kaliadeh Palace. Drive to Mandu in the afternoon. Check in hotel by evening for night stay.
Day11 : Mandu Sightseeing
Mandu reminds of the eternal love story between Baz Bhadur and Rani Roopmati. After breakfast explore the monuments of Mandu. Visit Baz Bhadur’s Palace and Roopmati’s pavilion. Jahaz Mahal or Ship Palace is erected between two lakes Munj Talao and Kapur Talao. This two storey Palace acted as a harem of Ghiyas-ud-din- Khilji. Hindola Mahal acted as an audience hall. Hoshang Shah’s Tomb made of marble is an astonishing piece of Afghan architecture; even Shah Jehan was inspired by this monument and sent one of his architects to study its architecture when he was building Taj Mahal. Evening free for the personal activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12 : Mandu – Bhopal 286 Km / 06 Hrs
Today you will have a long day on the wheels to reach the capital of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal which will be the base to visit Sanchi Stupa. On arrival check in hotel and then rest of the day free to relax in the hotel. Night stay at your hotel.
Day 13 : Bhopal – Sanchi excursion 46 Km / 01 Hr 30 min
After breakfast drive to Sanchi to see Sanchi Stupa which is the best piece of Buddhist architecture. There are three stupas at Sanchi, built by Ashoka in 3rd century B.C. It was later given a bigger dimension during the Sunga period. The stupa consists of the hemispherical dome containing Buddhist relics, four gateways and an umbrella surmounting the dome. The sculptures depict scenes of Buddha’s life. Later return to Bhopal for city tour, the places of interests are Moti Masjid, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Shaukat Mahal and Sadar Manzil, Upper and Lower Lakes. Night stay at hotel.
Day 14 : Bhopal – Pachmarhi 210 Km / 05 Hrs
After breakfast head to Pachmarhi a beautiful hill station of Central India placed in the Satpura ranges among the lush green flora. Upon arrival check in your hill resort. Rest of the day free to enjoy the serene ambience. Night stay at Resort
Day15 : Pachmarhi
Entire day free for your leisure activities. Night Stay at resort.
Day 16 : Panchmarhi- Jabalpur 225 Km / 04 Hrs
After breakfast head to Jabalpur check in hotel and then leave for sightseeing. See Madan Mahal Fort built in 1116 AD by Madan Shah. Other places of interests are Sangram Sagar, Rani Durgavati museum and Marble Rocks. Overnight stay at hotel
Day 17 : Jabalpur – Delhi (Flight) – Back Home
Today in the meantime you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight for Delhi. On arrival at Delhi domestic airport you will meet our representative who will escort you to International airport to take your flight back to home.
