Destinations Covered : Delhi-Lucknow-Sravasti-Lumbini-Kushinagar-Vaishali-Patna-Nalanda-Rajgir-Bodhgaya-Gaya-Varanasi-Sarnath-Delhi.

Buddha meaning “awakened one or “the enlightened one”. He was the teacher in the north-eastern region of the Indian sub continent who founded Buddhism. “After I am no more, O Ananda, men of belief will visit the four places with faith, curiosity and devotion:

  • Lumbini where I was born
  • Bodh Gaya where I attained Enlighment
  • Sarnath where I gave the first Sermon
  • Kushinagar where I shall pass into Maha Pari Nirvana”
These are the words spoken by Lord Gautam Buddha and we will be assisting you to visit these pious places and to commence the journey of Buddhist Circuit Pilgrimage.

Day 01: Arrival Delhi
God Buddha Temple Delhi !!!On arrival in capital of India you will be welcomed by our representative who will make you feel comfortable and after such a warm welcome, the famous Indian slogan coming true to you, that is “Atithi Devo Bhava” (guests are god ). Check in hotel and relax in the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02 :Delhi – Lucknow - Sravasti (by Train)
Early morning departure to Lucknow ‘the city of Nawabs’. From Lucknow you will be transferred to Sravasti which is 170 Kms from there. Sravasti is one of the six largest city of ancient India. Buddha passed the grater part of his monastic life in this city. Jetavana monastery is a famous monastery in Sravasti. Overnight stay in Sravasti.

Day 03: Sravasti - Lumbini (200 Kms / 5 Hrs)
Early morning departure to Lumbini - the birth place of Lord Buddha. Lumbini, being one of the four holy places of Buddhism is the Mecca of every Buddhist. Check in hotel at Lumbini. Places worth seeing here are the scattered ruins dating back to the days of the Buddha. The remains of historic places, monasteries, temples and above all, a stone kept by India’s great king Ashoka to pinpoint the exact birth place of the Buddha are here to take you back to the ancient ages. Overnight stay in Lumbini.

Day 04 : Lumbini - Kushinagar (150 Kms / 3 Hrs)
Moksh prapti in Gautam Budha with his studentSightseeing of Lumbini will include visit to Maya Devi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, Sacred Pond where Buddha’s mother took bath after giving birth and Lumbini Museum. After sightseeing depart to Kushinagar. Check into your reserved hotel and overnight stay in Kushinagar.

Day 05 : Kushinagar – Vaishali - Patna (253 Kms / 8 Hrs)
Kushinagar, the place of Maha Pari Nirvana of Lord Buddha is a very important and pious place for Buddhists. The places of interest in Kushinagar that will be included in your sightseeing are Mahaparinirvana Temple, Nirvana Chaitya (the main stupa), Ramabhar Stupa, Matha Kuar Shrine, Meditation Park, Indo-Japan-Srilanka Temple, Wat Thai Temple and Museum. You will be then departed toward Vaishali which is also an important place of Buddhist Circuit where you will be visiting the famous Ashoka Pillar. Journey will continue until you will reach your final destination that is Patna. Night stay at Hotel in Patna.

Day 06 : Excursion to Rajgir and Nalanda
Early morning departure to Rajgir once the capital of Magadha Empire. Rajgir is an important Buddhist site as Buddha spent 12 year of his life at this place. The places of interest in Rajgir are Amaravana, Ajatsatru’s Fort, The Cyclopean Wall, Griddhakuta, Swarna Bhandar. Further you will have a drive towards Nalanda. Nalanda is one of the great universities and an important Buddhist center. In Nalanda you will be seeing Nalanda University archaeological complex, Nalanda archaeological museum, Nava Nalanda Mahavira and Hieun Tsang memorial hall. Evening back to Patna for overnight stay.

Day 07 :Patna - Bodh Gaya (198 kms / 05 hrs)
Lord Buddha Temple !!!Early morning departure to Bodh Gaya –the holiest place. Sightseeing of Bodhgaya includes visit to Mahabodhi Temple, Barabar Caves –the details of the life of Buddha were carved out from solid rocks on these caves. Evening return back to hotel for overnight stay in Gaya.

Day 08 :Gaya - Varanasi (243 Kms / 6 Hrs)
Early morning departure to Varanasi. Upon arrival you will be escorted by a representative and check in the hotel already booked for you. You will have excursion tour to Sarnath - a place where Buddha gave his first Sermon. In Sarnath you will be visiting Chaukhandi Stupa, Dhameka Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihar and Sarnath Museum. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 09 :Varanasi - Delhi (by Train)
Morning boat ride and sunrise (subah-e-banaras) will definitely going to amaze you in Varanasi. Ghats of Varanasi and some famous temples will be included in the sightseeing tour. Evening departure to railway station will be escorted by our representative to board you in train.
