India is for long famous for its rich culture and heritage and now attracts number of foreign tourists to its rich heritage attractions. Rich heritage of India is reflected in the temples, monuments, forts and palaces that can be found everywhere. Indian government and Ministry of Tourism are offering several benefits to the Indian states for encouraging heritage tourism especially those famous who have potential for tourism. Heritage tourism India has grown in the last few years but there is scope for further development which can be attained only through combined efforts of the government of India and the tourism boards.
