It is a tradition that focuses on personal spiritual development; it is a system of life's philosophy which includes code of morality, practices, values, traditions and rituals. Buddhism began in 6th century when Prince Siddhartha Gautam achieved enlightenment (the state of full awareness) and converted into Gautam Buddha. He achieved enlightenment at Bodhgaya (Bihar) at the age of 35. In this tour we take you to several major attractions of Buddhist places in the country where he has preached his followers.
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi International Airport where you are met by our representative who will transfer you to your reserved hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 02 : Delhi – Lucknow by flight. Lucknow – Sravasti (Surface)
Early morning transferred to Railway station to depart for Lucknow by Lucknow Shatabdi super fast train at 0615 Hrs. On arrival at Lucknow you are transferred to Sravasti, 134 Kms from Lucknow is one of the prime Buddhist destinations in Uttar Pradesh state of India. It is here where Lord Buddha spent 25 years staying in the Jetvana Gardens and had performed some miracles. The city believed to have old - aged stupas, majestic monasteries and several temples. Overnight at Hotel in Sravasti.
Day 03 : Sravasti – Lumbini (86 Kms / 2 hrs)
Morning after buffet breakfast at hotel depart for the sightseeing of Sravasti. Sravasti is most importantly known for two clusters of shrines i.e. Maheth and Saheth. After sightseeing depart for Lumbini. It is the birth place of Lord Buddha and since then lost somewhere in this part of the world where it was rediscovered in 1890 after 1,500 years. Overnight at Lumbini
Day 04 : Lumbini – Kushinagar (175 Kms / 4 hrs.)
After breakfast depart for sightseeing tour of Lumbini, a place where you can visit Tilaurakot, Niglihawa, Sagarhawa, Gotihawa & Aroarakot. After sightseeing proceed to Kushinagar where Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana. Arrive and check into hotel. Overnight at Kushinagar.
Day 05 : Kushinagar - Vaishali - Patna (253 Kms / 6 hrs.)
Today morning visit Mahaparinirvana temple and Ramabhar stupa. Then precede for your sightseeing tour to Vaishali a small village known for being the oldest republic state of the world. It is also famous for the last preaching of Budhha. Then continue your journey to Patna which is formerly known
as Patliputra during the Magdhan period. Overnight in Patna.
Day 06 : Patna - Nalanda - Rajgir - Bodhgaya (100 Kms / 3 hrs.)
Morning buffet breakfast and departure for Bodhgaya, en-route visiting Rajgir a sacred place for Buddhism. It is considered that Lord Buddha use to meditate here and preach on the hill of Vultures, Griddhakuta. Then proceed for Nalanda, the oldest university of world, thou it have lost its charm and some parts are destroyed still its undying glory and uniqueness makes the visit exciting. After Nalanda depart for Bodhgaya. Overnight at Bodhgaya.
Day 07 : Bodhgaya
Today explore the most talked and awaited temple known for its purity in the Buddhist religion i.e. Mahabodhi temple. Afternoon free for religious activities and then later depart for Niranjana river, Sujata village and monasteries of different countries (optional). Overnight at Bodhgaya.
Day 08 : Bodhgaya - Varanasi (243 Kms / 6 hrs.)

Today morning after buffet breakfast depart for the holiest city of Hindus i.e. Varanasi. Later in the afternoon arrive Varanasi and check into hotel. Evening visit aarti with boat ride on the Ghats of Ganges River (optional). Overnight at Varanasi.
Day 09 : Varanasi – Agra (Train)
Morning breakfast and half day excursion to Sarnath. Latter in the day visit Bharat Mata temple, Hindu temples and famous Banaras Hindu University. Evening transfer to the Railway station to board an overnight train to Agra. Overnight on board
Day 10 : Agra Sightseeing
Morning arrive Agra railway station where you meet and assisted to your hotel. After freshen up you will depart for the sightseeing tour of Agra which was once the capital of Mughals and now boost about having the world’s most beautiful monument, “Taj Mahal”. First visit the Agra fort and Itimad-ud-Daulah tomb. Evening visit Taj Mahal during sunset. Overnight at Agra.
Day 11 : Agra - Delhi (205 kms / 4 hrs.)
Morning after breakfast drive to Delhi, en-route visiting Sikandra Fort, the tomb of Akbar. On arrival Delhi check in at Hotel. Evening free for leisure and overnight at Delhi.
Day 12 :Delhi Sightseeing
Morning buffet breakfast at hotel. Proceed for the visit of Red fort, Jama Masjid, Lotus Temple, Qutab Minaret and Humayun’s Tomb. Overnight at Delhi.
Day 13 :Leave Delhi
On time you will be escorted by our representative to the airport to board flight for onward journey
