The village of Bogmalo also houses a diving school which is one of its own kind in entire Goa.

There are other attractions that have made Bogmalo extremely popular with the tourists. These attractions include The Naval Aviation Museum. This is aprime attraction for tourists as it is here that they get an opportunity to see some of the aircrafts earlier actively used by the Indian Navy. There are also naval armaments on display which will surely delight tourists. The Naval Museum is at a distance of 1 km from the beach and is located at the top of a plateau. A visit to this place also ensures a splendid view of the Arabian Sea from high point.
At a very short distance is another beach called the Hollant beach. For tourists visiting Bogmalo beach, this is like an extra bonus. They cancombine a visit to the Hollant beach with their primary visit to the Bogmalo beach. The Hollant beach is an excellent place to enjoy some enchanting views of the sea as well the foothills of Western Ghats.
However amidst all attraction, the little village of Bogmalo and its people stand out because of their uniqueness and charms. Though still very traditional, the village exudes a modernity that has made it extremely lovable destination with the tourists.
Reaching There
» By Air - Tourists wishing to travel by air can land at Dabolim airport.
» By Road - From Vasco da Gama which is 8 kms northwest, Bogmalo can be reached by bus or taxi. However its nearness from the airport makes for a convenient reaching.
Accommodation
The Bogmalo beach resort is located on the beach itself, as such accommodation is not a problem. However, staying here can be highly expensive and if it doesn’t suit your budget, you can also put up at the cheap hotels or guest houses that line up nearby the beach.
