About the Beach
Lying in the north Goa, Baga beach is a part of the coastline that stretches upto thirty kms. The beach, though not as famous as the nearby Calangute beach is a definite drawer of tourists who wish to retreat from the fast pace of their routine life. The beach lies ten kms west of Mapusa and is protected by a rocky headland. At its northern end, a small river quietly merges with the water of the Arabian sea

Best time to visit
Baga beach is worth visiting anytime during the year, however, heavy rainfall between June to October can dampen the spirits of tourists who want to enjoy completely. So, the best time for the tourists to visit the beach is during the months of November to February.
