Some of the palaces have been converted into the luxury hotels where you get a very warm hospitality which gives you feel of royal guest. It covers some of the enticing cities like Mandawa where there is an open art gallery, Bikaner the land of camel breeding, glittering golden city of Jaisalmer, Udaipur the city of lakes, pink city of Jaipur and the last but not the least Agra the city of Taj.
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Welcome to Delhi the capital and political hub of India. Max Holidays representative will be waiting for you at the arrival lounge at Delhi International airport. After exchanging the greetings drive to your pre booked hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02 : Delhi sightseeing
After good sleep and healthy breakfast enjoy your day with our learned and highly qualified guide who will take you to some interesting sites of Delhi. Delhi has a very long history as it was ruled by different rulers which one can judge by visiting the monuments whose pattern of architecture changed as the rulers changed. Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, drive past Rastrapati Bhawan (President’s House) and then visit India Gate a war memorial for the soldiers who lost their lives in World War I and Afghan war. Later drive to Raj Ghat, cremation ground of Mahatama Ghandhi a veteran freedom fighter. Next stop will be Jumma Masjid (Mosque), drive past Red Fort. Also go to see Hindu temple, Birla Mandir, Lotus temple of Bahai’s faith. If you are interested in museums then you can pay a visit to National museum. After a long day return to hotel for night stay.
Day 03 : Delhi - Mandawa (265 Kms / 5 ½ Hrs)
Today enjoy the scenic countryside drive to Mandawa. Mandawa lies in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan and is famous for open art gallery as most of the walls are richly painted and wide use of the frescoes paintings can also be seen at castle Mandawa. You can also go to see how Indian potteries are made out of clay. A leisurely walk into this tiny hamlet is advised where you get a chance to intermingle with local folks. After spending some time in the village streets return to your heritage hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04 : Mandawa - Bikaner (200 Kms / 5 Hrs)
Head to Bikaner, en route visiting some small villages of Rajasthan. On arrival check in one of the heritage hotels. In the afternoon you will see your guide who will take you to an impressive Junagarh Fort built in the year 1588 by Raja Rai Singh. This fort is not on the hill top as most of the Rajasthan forts are built. Later visit to Lalgarh Palace whose architect was Sir Swinton Jacob; he designed this palace for Maharaja Ganga Singh. Evening fee for own activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer (333 Kms / 8 Hrs)
Today you have a long day since the drive to Jaisalmer will be nearly 06 hours. Take your breakfast in the hotel and check out to leave for Jaisalmer, on the way visit camel breeding farm and Rat temple, which is full of rats.En route our driver will stop at some local restaurants for refreshments. Check in your hotel. Rest of the day free to relax.
Day 06 : Jaisalmer
You have full day to explore the city with your local guide. Start your tour with Jaisalmer Fort constructed in the year 1156 A.D. by the Bhati ruler Rawal Jaisal for the defence of the city. The fort is made of yellow sandstone which glitters like a gold when sun rays fall on it. This fort is still inhabited by local population. Later visit Patwon Ki Haveli made by Guman Chand Patwa and his five sons. The excellent work done with the stones are breathtaking. After that visit Gadi Sagar Lake which was once the only source of water to the Jaisalmer city. Later return to the hotel for lunch and take some rest. In the evening leave for camel Safari at Sam which is about 40 Km from the city followed by folk dance and dinner in the desert. Return to hotel for night stay.
Day 07 : Jaisalmer - Manwar (200 Kms / 5 Hrs)
Drive to another fascinating desert destination Manwar, the purpose of including in the itinerary is to give you the real feel of Great Thar Desert as you will be staying in the Deluxe Tents. In the evening you can enjoy the bonfire and local folk dance .The tents offers all the facilities of the modern hotels. Overnight in Deluxe Tent.
Day 08 : Manwar - Jodhpur (150 Kms / 3 ½ Hrs)
After having breakfast drive to Jodhpur which was once the capital of Marwar state After check in formalities , go for city sightseeing .
Visit Mehrangarh Fort erected by the Rathor King Rao Jodha , in 1459 A.D.The fort stands like a giant, projecting from a range of hills. It is 120 metres high.It is a huge massive and elegant structure. It has strong walls and square towers all round it. Subtle barriers have been thrown across the roundabout ascent. It is a fine example of craftsmanship. Jaswant Thada, it was the cremation ground for the royal rulers. Also visit Umaid Bhawan Palace which is now converted into a luxury hotel. The last point will be Mandore Garden which is about 9 km from the city. Evening explore the market of Jodhpur later return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 09 : Jodhpur - Rohetgarh (50 Kms / 1 Hrs)
Our driver will take you today to one of the unspoilt hamlet of Rohetgarh located in the arid region of Rajasthan. The main attraction of the destination is the Rohetgarh Heritage hotel where you will be having a memorable stay. You can go the village to see how the people are busy with daily chore and moreover you can interact with them to know more about culture and traditions. Horse safaris and jeep safaris are also recommended. Night stay at hotel.
Day 10 : Rohetgarh - Udaipur (266 Kms / 6 Hrs)
Today drive to the “lake city of India” Udaipur,en route visiting Rankapur Jain temples which is the brilliant piece of architecture. It was built in the year 15th century during the reign of Rana Kumbha.On arrival check in hotel and rest of the day free to relax. The demography of Udaipur is entirely different from other parts of Rajasthan, you can find greenery here. The city was built by Rana Udai Singh in 1559 A.D. Rest of the day is free for your own activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11 : Udaipur
Today go for guided city tour; Udaipur built by Rana Udai Singh in 1559 A.D, is also known for its palaces built in lakes. They are as exquisite as gems of marble carvings, inlaid with mirror –mosaics and murals and miniature paintings. Take a boat ride on Lake Pichola and visit the palace constructed in the islands of Jag Mandir and Niwas in the centre of the lake have beautiful marble domes and towers. Lake Palace which is now converted into a luxury hotel is a masterpiece of workmanship and architecture. It appears like a spotless fresh lily perched on the steel blue extent of the calm water. The Palace contains beautiful gardens, chambers and balconies. The inside of the Palace is ornamented with beautiful frescoes and gorgeous paintings. Other interesting places to be visited are Sahelion ki Bari, and Jagdish Mandir.
Day 12 : Udaipur - Pushkar (301 Kms / 7 Hrs)
Morning head to Pushkar the land where one of the major cattle fair is held every year in the month of November.
Pushkar houses many temples but most of them were destroyed by Aurangzeb the last Mughal ruler. The most famous among all is the Brahma temple which is the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma which lies on the Shore of Pushkar Lake. Go for guided tour of the temples and later relax in one of the heritage hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 13 : Pushkar - Jaipur (40 Kms / 45 Minutes)
Morning breakfast in the hotel and later drive to Jaipur.This is the last city of Rajasthan. Check in hotel. After some relaxation leave for city sightseeing. Raja Jai Singh II laid the foundation of the Pink city in the year 1728 A.D. Visit Hawa Mahal which is a rare example of elaborate and fanciful architecture. It was built in the 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. Its pyramidal façade comprises five storeys.It is decorated with perforated screens, curvilinear roofs, domes and spires. Later visit City Palace or Chand Mahal where the former Maharaja of Jaipur still reside in one complex and rest is converted into the museum. Also visit Jantar Mantar, one of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh in the early 18th century is a marvel of civil architecture of the Rajputs. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 14 : Jaipur
Morning leave for an excursion to Amber Fort located at about 11 Km from the city. Ascend the fort on elephant’s back which gives you a feel of Maharaja and you can see the skyline of Jaipur city. It has some of the interesting buildings like Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), Diwane-Am (Hall of Public Audience), and Diwan-e- Khash (Hall of Private Audience). You can take an aerial view of the city from Amer Fort. Later drive to Jaigarh fort which acted as storage for artillery and one of the biggest Canons of the world is kept here. Later return to city and go for shopping in the local market. Afternoon free for leisure activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 15 : Jaipur - Agra 260 Km / 05 Hrs en route visit Fateh Pur Sikri
Drive to the city of Taj Mahal, Agra en route visiting the “Ghost Town”, Fateh Pur Sikri.. It is considered as the best architectural achievement of the
Mughal Emperor Akbar.In the words of a great historian V.A. Smith “Fatehpur Sikri is a romance in stone”. There are many buildings of interest at Fatehpur Sikri. Jodha Bai Palace is complete in its design, and its carved decoration resembles that of the Hindu Temple architecture .The interior of the Palace of Mariam is ornamented with large mural paintings of Persian subjects. The house of Birbal is known for its architectural ornamentation and carved decoration, both inside and outside. The Panch Mahal is a pyramidal structure in five storeys was built on the patterns of Buddhist Viharas.The Diwane-Am and Diwane –Khas are notable for their layout. On arrival check in hotel. Night stay at hotel.
Day 16 : Agra - Delhi (204 Kms / 4hrs)
Early morning visit Taj Mahal which was built by Shah Jehan the great builder of Mughal emperor in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj.Many artists, craftsmen, and architects were responsible for its creation but the chief architect was Ustad Isa.It took 22 years to complete this monument. Return to hotel for breakfast and then again leave for Agra Fort built on the bank of the river Yamuna. It took eight years to stand this fort (1565-73).It was mainly built in the red sandstone. Each stone is cut to size, grooved and polished. Later drive to Delhi, on the way visit Itimad Ud Daulah, which is mausoleum of Miriza Ghiyas Beg, father of the empress Nur Jehan.It is also called baby Taj due to its architecture. Later drive directly to the Indira Gandhi International airport to board your flight back to home carrying immense memories of the fascinating country India
Day 17 : Delhi
Morning departure transfer to international airport for the return flight to your country.
