Destinations Covered : Delhi - Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur - Goa - Mumbai.

The Muslims brought with them their own architectural ideas, designs and traditions. Massive and extensive buildings and mosques- Juma Masjid, spherical domes, arches, tall minarets- Qutab Minar, open courtyards at Fatehpur Sikri, pillared naves, huge walls which you can see in the Agra Fort were introduced in India by the Muslims. Cities of Delhi and Agra are full of Muslim buildings. Jaipur was ruled by the Hindu Rajput rulers where you can see the Rajput style of architecture. Goa is the heaven for the beach lovers. Mumbai of course the financial capital of India is full of British structures.

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi.
Welcome to the India’s capital, New Delhi. At the airport you will be received by the Max Holidays representative. After exchange of greetings drive to your pre booked hotel for the night stay.
 
Day 02 : New Delhi and Old Delhi sightseeing.
Meet the guide in the hotel lobby after morning breakfast and depart for the full day sightseeing of the city.Lotus Temple - Designed in a half lotus leaf. After New Delhi The first monument will be Qutab Complex which has many interesting monuments inside like Qutab Minar, one of the highest towers in India. It is circular tower and is 72 metres high. Also visit Quwat ul Islam and Iron Pillar. Later continue your drive to visit war memorial at India Gate just in front of President’s House. Visit Hindu temple, Birla Mandir. After finishing your sightseeing of New Delhi, drive to old Delhi to see one of the biggest mosques of India Jumma Masjid. Also visit Red Fort built by the great monarch of Muslim empire in India Shah Jehan. Enjoy your rickshaw ride at Chandani Chowk (moonlight square). Drive to Connaught Place the buildings are of British era is now a busy commercial as well as shopping centre. After spending some time there drive to hotel. Night stay at hotel.

Day 03 : Delhi - Agra 204 Km / 04 Hrs drive.
After having a lavish breakfast in the hotel head to the city of Taj, Agra. After check in formalities are over leave for sightseeing of the city. Diwan i Khas AgraVisit Taj Mahal built by Shah Jahan who was fond of constructing buildings. He used marbles instead of red stone. The Taj Mahal is well-conceived and well executed. There is perfect harmony in all its parts. The gateway, the central dome, the elegant minarets, the lovely gardens and fine inlay-work are some of its special features. Later visit Agra Fort built by Akbar in eight years. .It was mostly built in red sand stone. In plan the fort takes the shape of an irregular semicircle about 2.4 km in circuit. The whole structure is enclosed by massive wall about six feet in width and nearly 70 feet high built in solid red sand stone. Each stone is cut to size, grooved and polished. Also visit Itimad ud Daulah, tomb of Jehangir’s father in law, which was constructed of pure white marble and is famous for its fine, colored inlay work. In the evening return to hotel for night stay.


Day 04 : Agra to Jaipur enroute visit to Fatehpur Sikri 265 Km / 05 Hrs drive
Morning drive to Jaipur enroute see the best architectural achievement of Akbar’s reign at Fatehpur Sikri .There are many buildings of interest at Fatehpur Sikri. Jodha Bai Palace is complete in its design, and its carved decoration resembles that of Hindu temple architecture. The interior of the Palace of Mariam is ornamented with large mural paintings of Persian subjects. The house of Birbal is known for its architectural ornamentation and carved decoration both inside and outside. The Panch Mahal a pyramidal structure in five storeys was built on the pattern of Buddhist Vihara.The Diwan-i-Am and Diwan –i- Khas are notable for their layout. Later continue your drive to Jaipur. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 : Jaipur Sightseeing.
Heritage Style Eating Food in Chokhi Dhani Tour !!!Morning go for an excursion to Amer Fort which is about 11 Km away from the city centre. Here you can ascend the fort on elephant’s back like a king. Amer was the earlier capital of Kachhawaha rulers. The fort stands like a giant, projecting from a range of hills. Later drive to Jaigarh Fort where one of the biggest cannon is kept. Drive back to Hawa Mahal which is a rare example of elaborate and fanciful architecture. It was built in the 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. Its pyramidal façade comprises five storeys. It is decorated with perforated screens, curvilinear roofs, domes and spires. Besides, the Jantar Mantar, one of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh, in the early 18th century, is a marvel of civil architecture of the Rajputs. Visit City Palace part of which has been converted into museum and other part is still the residence of the royal family. Evening free to roam around the colorful market of Jaipur. Night stay at hotel.
 
Day 06 : Jaipur to Goa by Flight
Morning you will be transferred to airport to board the flight for Goa. At airport you will be met by Max representative who will escort you to one of your pre booked resort. Goa is land of fun and frolic. It is wrong conception that Goa has only beaches to offer, apart from beaches there are many other exciting activities that can be taken. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 07 : Goa sightseeing
After relaxed morning breakfast you will be picked up from your resort for the full day sightseeing of Goa. Geographically Goa is not so vast. The places of interests are Se Cathedral and Basilica of Bom Jesus. Also see the church of our Lady of Rosary. After Church tour visit Mangeshi temple and Dona Paula which is a lover’s point. According to a legend the viceroy’s daughter fell in love with a fisherman who was not acceptable and thus she did suicide from here. Also visit St. Augustine Fort and Fort Aguda. Evening free for own activities.

Amazing Beaches in Goa !!!Day 08 : Goa – Day free.
Entire day you are free to relax on the beach. Overnight at resort

Day 09 : Goa – Day Free.
All day free to enjoy the sun, sand and sea. Overnight at resort.

Day 10 : Goa – Mumbai (Flight)- Excursion to Elephanta Caves
Transfer to the airport to board your flight for Mumbai. On arrival you will be received by our representative to be taken to hotel. After wash and change you will be taken to Gateway of India from where you will be taken for an excursion to Elephanta caves on boat. The Elephanta caves are regarded as UNESCO world Heritage site. There are many rock cut temples on the islands of Elephanta.They contain many images of Natraja, Shiva, Parvati and Brahma. The Shiva Cave temple, Elephanta carved from hillside on the island of Elephanta is really remarkable. It has three entrances and the hall has six rows of pillars. It contains many fine sculptures. The most striking of them is the huge statue of three faced Shiva which is about 6 meters high. It depicts three aspects of Shiva- the creator, the preserver and the destroyer. These were made by Rashtrakutas dynasty in the 8th century AD. Evening return to hotel for night stay.

Day 11 : Sightseeing of Mumbai / Fly back Home
After having breakfast in the hotel check out from the hotel and leave for sightseeing of the city with local guide. The monuments to be visited are Victoria Terminus, Prince of Wales Museum, Mani Bhawan, Haji Ali mosque, Mahalaxmi temple, Hanging gardens and Kamla Nehru Park. At the end visit Juhu Beach after spending sometime there, you will be driven to the International airport to take your flight back home.
