Rajasthan, India's desert state, was once a collection of princely kingdoms where feudal traditions still carry on amidst forts and palace hotels. Rajasthan is where all the country’s similes and metaphors appear to have come together to create a visual extravaganza.Majestic palaces and rugged forts, spectacular deserts, wooded hills and tranquil lakes, bustling towns and quiet villages, amazing flora and fauna and of course, the colorful and vibrant people of Rajasthan form an intricate tapestry of mysticism, grandeur and rusticity. Behind the breathtaking beautiful facade, expect to find contradictions to the ordinary and mundane aspects of vacationing. Wherever you travel, particularly when you escape from the popular tourist destinations, you will come across the unexpected, whether it is a local fair or a bustling bazaar or mind-blowing architectural wonders. The mood and the rhythm of the countryside changes from one region to another, and from season to season. It is a land of magical fantasies that remain a lifetime memory.

Indian Culture, in India, although diverse and varied, still binds the country together in some form of common identification. Indian dance and music have played a remarkable role in this unification. India has a great heritage of classical dance and music. Using the body as a medium of communication, the expression of dance is perhaps the most intricate and developed, yet easily understood art form. Music too plays an important role in the Hindu religion. The tradition of Indian music should be understood in the context of Indian life and thought. It is known to be a mystical experience, analogous to yoga ...

Golden Temple Amritsar !!!Amritsar is one of the most important holiest place for Sikh religion and is a home of a religious building important to Sikhs i.e Golden Temple. Amritsar derives its name from the word Amrit (Holy water) sarover (Tank), the holy tank that surrounds the magnificent Golden Temple. The city Amritsar was founded by Guru Ram Das in 16th A.D. he purchased this land from the owners of the village Tung at Rs. 700 on that time. The city is the most loved tourist destination due to the existence of several religious sites. If anyone is doing the North India Tour, then they should visit the Amritsar because your north India tour is incomplete without doing the sightseeing of Amritsar. The people in Amritsar are very kind hearted and co-operative. It is like any other town in north India. For the first time visitor, Amritsar is the same place with bustling markets, haphazard traffic, unyielding cattle, crowds and congestion typical of small town India but later they will come to know the importance of Amritsar because it is famous as a religious site for all religion. Golden Temple in Amritsar is one of the holiest sites for Sikh tourism in India. The temple where all people do prayers and worship are situated in a middle of holy water tank. The walls of the temple are gold plated and the upper dome of the temple is made up of gold. This extraordinary architecture draws the attention of the tourist all over the world. It is still known for the disaster that was happened on the occasion of Baisakhi (New Year) celebrations on 13th April’ 1919 when thousands of people gather their to celebrate this Baisakhi but General Dyer entered with their solders in Jallianwala Wala Bagh and ordered fire. Thousands of innocent people including ladies and children had lost their life. Still we remember that incident as Jallianwala Bagh Massacre and it is one of the best tourist attraction in Amritsar.

Durgiana Mandir : Durgiana Mandir is located near to Golden Temple. It has been believed that the temple was built in 16th century A.D. but there is not properevidence of its existence. Durgiana temple modeled is very much similar to Golden Temple because the main temple stands at the centre of lake and massive temple structure is the replica of Golden Temple. Durgiana Temple is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga. People also offer prayers to deities of Lakshmi (God of Wealth) and Narayana.

INDIA's GLORIOUS DIVERSITY extends to religious life as well. Eighty-five percent of Indian's diversity. Boasting a lively pantheon of deities that smile from exquisitely sculpted temple gopura, the Hindu religion absorbs beliefs and philosophies from all over, thus practices frequently differ from place to place. Nevertheless the basic tenets of Hinduism were laid out in the Vedas, and describe the goal of uniting with Brahma, the creator, via a life of asceticism and meditation. Hindu belief includes the concept of samsara, the cycle of death and rebirth, and release from samsara, or moksha.Muslims are a significant ten percent of the population, and all over India, mosques are almost as ubiquitous as temple. Islam worships one God, Allah, eschews pork, and Muslim women are encouraged to veil themselves. Muslims are no longer a large part of the population, but their impact throughout Indian history is felt in its architecture and in several cities.Other significant religious groups include the Jains and Buddhists, once much more prominent than they are now, and shoes temple architecture has left its mark on the Indian landscape, the Sikh community, Christians, and Zoroastrians.religious tour india Badrinath - Kedarnath - Uttarkashi - Vaishno-devi - Kanya Kumari - mammalapuram
